This 10-day immersive journey through Morocco begins and ends in its most iconic imperial cities. From the vibrant energy of Marrakech, you’ll venture across the High Atlas Mountains to explore ancient kasbahs, spend two unforgettable nights in the Sahara Desert experiencing nomadic culture, and delve deep into the timeless medieval heart of Fes. This tour perfectly blends cultural discovery, historical exploration, and breathtaking natural landscapes, offering a comprehensive and profound experience of Morocco’s greatest highlights.
Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to your traditional riad in the heart of the medina. The rest of the day is free for you to start exploring. In the evening, you may choose to visit the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square, a vibrant hub of storytellers, food stalls, and entertainers.
After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech. You will visit the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the Koutoubia Mosque. Then, escape to the serene Majorelle Garden before diving into the bustling souks, where you can experience the scents, colors, and crafts of Morocco.
Today, your journey begins as we depart Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. We will stop at the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou, an ancient kasbah that has featured in many films. After lunch and exploration, we continue to the Dades Valley for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, we drive to the impressive Todra Gorge, where you can walk between its towering cliffs. Later, we continue to Merzouga. Here, you will ride a camel into the Erg Chebbi dunes to watch the sunset. You’ll spend the night at a luxury desert camp, enjoying dinner and Berber music under the stars.
Wake early for a spectacular sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, embark on a 4×4 desert excursion. You’ll visit the village of Khamlia to enjoy Gnawa music and meet nomadic families in their traditional tents. Return to your desert camp for another magical night.
After a sunrise breakfast, we leave the desert and stop at Rissani’s traditional market. We then drive through the stunning Ziz Valley oasis before arriving in Midelt, where we will spend the night.
Today, we journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains. We’ll pass through the cedar forests of Azrou—home to Barbary apes—and stop in Ifrane, known as “Morocco’s Switzerland.” We arrive in Fes in the evening and check into your riad.
Enjoy a full-day guided tour of Fes. You will visit the Al Quaraouiyine University, the Chouara Tannery, and the vibrant souks. The tour ends with a panoramic view of the medina from the Marinid Tombs.
Today is free for you to explore Fes at your leisure. You may choose to revisit the medina, relax at a hammam, or take an optional cooking class or day trip to nearby historical sites.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Fes airport for your departure, marking the end of your Moroccan adventure.
