Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fes

Your adventure begins with collection from Casablanca airport. Time permitting, glimpse the magnificent Hassan II Mosque before journeying to Rabat to explore the Hassan Tower and Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Continue to the imperial city of Meknes before arriving in Fes for dinner and overnight in a traditional Riad.


Day 2: Discovering Imperial Fes

After breakfast, meet your expert local guide to explore Fes el-Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Wind through labyrinthine alleys to see the Royal Palace gates, historic Jewish Quarter, intricate Medersas, and the famous Tanneries from a terrace. Immerse yourself in the vibrant energy of traditional souks before returning to your Riad.


Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Merzouga Desert

Journey south towards the Sahara Desert, passing through Ifrane (“Morocco’s Switzerland”) and the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas to see wild Barbary macaques. Continue through Midelt’s apple orchards before the landscape shifts dramatically through the picturesque Ziz Valley with its vast palm groves. Arrive in Merzouga, gateway to the Erg Chebbi dunes, for overnight.


Day 4: Merzouga Desert 4×4 Adventure

Explore the captivating Erg Chebbi landscapes by 4×4, visiting the seasonal Lake of Merzouga and Khamlia village for traditional Gnawa music. Share tea with a nomadic Berber family before embarking on a camel caravan into the heart of the dunes for a breathtaking sunset. Enjoy a traditional dinner under the stars at your desert camp.


Day 5: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

Greet the day with a spectacular Sahara sunrise. After breakfast, return from the desert and depart for the Dades Valley. If market day, explore Rissani’s bustling souk before continuing through Erfoud to the stunning Todra Gorge for a walk between towering canyon walls. Overnight in the beautiful Dades Valley.


Day 6: Dades Valley – Skoura – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

Follow the legendary “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs” through the lush Skoura Oasis to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa.” Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou before crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the spectacular Tizi N’Tichka pass to Marrakech.


Day 7: Exploring Marrakech

Discover the “Red City” with a local guide, visiting the Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and the lively Djemaa el Fna square and souks. Depending on arrangements, visit the Majorelle or Menara Gardens before overnight in Marrakech.


Day 8: Marrakech Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Marrakech Menara Airport according to your flight schedule, concluding your Moroccan adventure.
