Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca

Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. If time permits, visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, uniquely situated facing the ocean. Enjoy free time in the evening to stroll along the Corniche waterfront or sample local cuisine.


Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes  – Fes

After breakfast, depart for Rabat to visit the Kasbah of the Oudayas, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and Hassan Tower. Continue to Meknes to explore its historic ramparts and majestic Bab Mansour Gate before arriving in Fes for the night.


Day 3: Discovering Imperial Fes

Explore Fes el-Bali, the best-preserved medieval medina in the Arab world, with a local guide. Visit the University of Al-Qarawiyyin, Andalusian Mosque, vibrant souks, and the famous Chouara tanneries. Enjoy free time in the afternoon for further exploration.


Day 4: Fes – Chefchaouen  – Fes

Embark on a full-day excursion to Chefchaouen, the famous ‘Blue City’ in the Rif Mountains. Wander through its blue-washed streets, visit Uta el-Hammam Square and the Grand Mosque, and climb to the Spanish Mosque for panoramic views before returning to Fes.


Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Merzouga Desert

Journey to the Sahara Desert with stops in Ifrane (“the Switzerland of Morocco”) and Azrou’s Cedar Forest to see Barbary monkeys. Continue through Erfoud, famous for fossils, before arriving in Merzouga for a camel trek into the desert to your Berber camp.


Day 6: Merzouga Desert Experience

Enjoy a magical desert sunrise before visiting Berber nomadic families to learn about their traditional lifestyle. The afternoon offers optional activities: a 4×4 desert ride, relaxation, or another camel ride at sunset. Overnight in Merzouga.


Day 7: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Visit Rissani’s vibrant market before proceeding to the dramatic Todra Gorges for a walk through the towering canyon. Continue to the Dades Valley, known as the ‘Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs,’ for overnight accommodation with valley views.


Day 8: Dades Valley – Skoura – Marrakech
Stop at the Skoura oasis with its preserved kasbahs before crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Arrive in vibrant Marrakech with free time to experience Jemaa el-Fna square at night.


Day 9: Exploring Marrakech

Discover Marrakech’s premier attractions including the Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and colorful souks. Visit the tranquil Majorelle Gardens and Berber Museum before returning to the vibrant Jemaa el-Fna square in the evening.


Day 10: Marrakech – Ouzoud Waterfalls – Marrakech

Take a day trip to North Africa’s most impressive waterfalls at Ouzoud. Enjoy scenic walks, observe local monkeys, or take a boat ride before returning to Marrakech for a free evening.


Day 11: Marrakech – Essaouira

Travel to the coastal UNESCO World Heritage city of Essaouira. Explore its active fishing harbor, beautiful beaches, and art-filled streets while enjoying fresh seafood and the relaxed atmosphere.


Day 12: Essaouira – Departure

Enjoy free time for last-minute shopping or a final coastal walk before transferring to Marrakech or Casablanca airport for your departure.
