After meeting your guide in Tangier, begin your journey through the majestic Rif Mountains with breathtaking panoramic views. Arrive in Chefchaouen, the famous “Blue Pearl,” where the afternoon is free to explore its beautiful blue-washed streets at your own pace. Overnight in a local riad or hotel.
Depart for Fes through charming Rif Mountain villages. Visit Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site with North Africa’s best-preserved Roman ruins. Continue to the imperial city of Meknes to see the famous Bab el-Mansour gate and Moulay Ismail Mausoleum before arriving in Fes for the night in a traditional medina riad.
Explore Morocco’s oldest and most culturally rich city with an expert guide. Visit the Royal Palace gate, historic Jewish Quarter (Mellah), Al Karaouine University, the famous Tanneries, Attarine Museum, and Moulay Idriss Mausoleum. Enjoy another night immersed in Fes’s authentic medina atmosphere.
